Many outspoken atheists and opponents of Christianity have tied religion and violence together, purporting that one leads to the other. This association has become a reason and an excuse for many people to ignore the claims of Christianity. John will respond to this prevalent cultural claim.

John is a Director of the Centre for Public Christianity. With an honours degree in theology and a PhD in ancient history, John is also a Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University. He is passionate and persuasive communicator, having written books and produced DVDs on many aspects of Christianity with the unbeliever or sceptic in mind.
